The current SG-FF League One was formed from a merger between three separate leagues in the game (formerly known as League 1, League 3 (the International Football League) and League 4).
This is a listing of the franchises that were existing at the time of the merger of the three leagues, along with any subsequent relocations those teams have undergone.

League 3, formerly known as The (IFL) International Football League, was in operation for 24 seasons (6 years i.r.l) and at one point was arguably the most competitive league in SG-FF.
When the league was merged into League one, these are the franchises that were transferred over, including the division into which they were placed in League One.
Lisbon Sharks (Fett Division)
Chicago Grizzlies (Dooku Division)
New Orleans Admirals (Dooku Division)
Houston Drillers (Dooku Division)
Manitoba Maulers (Dooku Division) ***The Manitoba franchise has moved twice since the merger: 1. Robertsville Monsters, 2. now known as Rivercity Rapids***
Transylvania Twisters (Kenobi Division)
Omaha Bulls (Wookie Division)
Vancouver Thunder (Yoda Division)
Studio City Storm (Skywalker Division)
El Dorado Raptors (Skywalker Division) ***The El Dorado Franchise has moved twice since the merger:1. Los Angeles Avengers, 2. now known as South Windsor Sea Eagles
